Last Sunday, my family and I went to the zoo.
It was a sunny and warm day.
We got up early in the morning and had a quick breakfast.
Then we got in the car and drove to the zoo.
The zoo was very big and crowded.
There were many families with children.
First, we saw the elephants.
They were very big and had long trunks.
They were eating bananas and playing with water.
Then we visited the giraffes.
They were very tall with long necks.
They were eating leaves from the trees.
My little sister was very excited.
She took many photos with her phone.
After that, we saw the monkeys.
They were very funny and active.
They were jumping and climbing trees.
Some of them were eating fruits.
We watched them for a long time.
We also saw lions and tigers.
They were lying in the sun and sleeping.
They looked very lazy but powerful.
At noon, we had our lunch in the zoo park.
We ate sandwiches, fruits, and drank juice.
Then we visited the bird section.
There were colorful parrots and eagles.
The parrots were talking and repeating words.
In the afternoon, we went to the petting zoo.
We fed the goats and rabbits.
They were very friendly and cute.
Before leaving, we bought some souvenirs.
I bought a small toy elephant.
My sister bought a colorful bird.
It was a wonderful day.
We learned many new things about animals.
I hope we can visit the zoo again next year.
